TOUCH Broward - Partnerships Transforming Our Community's Health

Broward Regional Health Planning Council’s (BRHPC) TOUCH Initiative is an organization dedicated to working with communities, partners and local government to improve the health and well-being of all Broward county residents.

Community Redevelopment Authorities (CRA’s) are the center of the Community Garden movement in Broward County. Local CRA’s know the value in creating an oasis in the center of blighted areas. The growth of the garden spurs neighborhood interest. The gardens are designed to be scalable and moveable allowing the CRA to act quickly if a better land-use opportunity arises.

Locations: Dania Beach (Flagship), Fort Lauderdale, Margate, Pompano Beach with several other Broward county municipalities under consideration. (LINK TO PAGES)
